Purifiers Feedback: I THINK THEY GO HAND-IN-HAND. YOU GET RID OF THE UNWANTED ‘STUFF’ IN YOUR WATER BY FILTERING IT AND IT TENDS TO CHANGE THE ‘TASTE’ OF YOUR WATER (CLEANER MAYBE).

Purifiers Feedback: They’re wonderful for allergy sufferers. My best suggestion is to get one with a metal plate in place of a filter. Instead of pulling out a dusty mess, you rinse it underwater. That way you’re not transferring the dust, pollens and mites around…you’re just washing them away. Or get one of the new ones that kill mold and germs with heat and need no filters.

I got mine at Hammacher Schlemmer a few years ago. They carry the best air care products.

Purifiers Feedback: Any water traveling through plastic or metal pipes over a long distance is bound to erode the walls minutely and carry those particles.

One time I got brownish water from the faucet and called the water company, who sent someone out. By then my sample bowl was clear, and there was sediment at the bottom.

He saw this and said the sediment is always there but in tiny quantities and barely detectable, and even with the sediment the water is “Safe” to drink. That is, there are no infectious microorganisms.

But that doesn’t mean there aren’t particles that mess up the taste, chlorine (which basically kills bad organisms in the water) and minerals and metals that alter the taste.

Purifiers Feedback: Make sure you get one with a hepa filter. I got mine from Home Depot. It has a filter that can be cleaned. The Hepa filter needs to be replaced yearly (more often if you use it frequently.
They do not remove radon. If you have high levels of radon, you need to have an inspection to find out where it’s getting in. There are detectors on the market now, you can find them at Home Depot.

Purifiers Feedback: If u cannot afford the Iconic u can buy several cheap air purifiers at some places like Wal-Mart for like 20. dollars that work good–I have two and saved my dog’s life as she is not used to cigareete smoke.
